1. Introduction to Terms and Conditions of Use
Welcome to GooMur, a mobile app designed to connect tourists and users travelling in the same direction, enabling significant savings on taxi fares and carpooling opportunities.

By accessing or using GooMur or registering as a user, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Intellectual Property Warning
GooMur, including its name, concept, content, structure, and design, is protected by international copyright laws and intellectual property rights.

⚠️ Warning: Our concept and content are fully protected. Any attempt to copy, replicate, or reverse engineer the GooMur app or its concept, in part or whole, will be pursued vigorously by our international team of legal representatives. Violators will be subject to the full rigor of international law.

Service Description: GooMur is a mobile-based service that helps customers save up to 75% on taxi fares and enables carpooling with like-minded travellers.

4. Definitions
“You”, “your”, and “yours” refer to the individual accessing or using the GooMur app and services.

“We”, “us”, and “our” refer to GooMur.

5. Scope of Terms
These Terms apply to all use of the GooMur website, app, and any communications (email or otherwise) between you and us. By becoming a Registered User and/or using the app or website, you are agreeing to comply with these Terms.

6. Eligibility, Registration and Your Account
Users must be 18 years or older.

Registration requires a valid mobile number, home address, and email address.

Users must accept to receive details of other apps within the GooMur group.

All information provided must be accurate, current, and truthful.

GooMur reserves the right to accept or reject any registration at its sole discretion.

Accounts must not be shared with third parties.

Users are responsible for all activity conducted under their account.

Providing false or inaccurate information may result in immediate termination of your account without notice.

Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice, and it is your responsibility to stay updated.

Accounts can be terminated via the “My Profile” → “Terminate My Account” section.

7. Refund Policy
Once you accept to join a journey and the service fee is paid, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

8. Disclaimer and Risk Responsibility
GooMur acts only as a facilitator of contact between individuals for potential ride-sharing opportunities.

You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability and safety of travel companions.

While safety checks are conducted during registration, GooMur does not guarantee the background or conduct of other users.

You should always arrange initial meetings in public places and inform a trusted individual of your plans.

GooMur is not liable for inaccuracies, misrepresentations, or incidents that occur during shared rides.

9. Journey Matching
GooMur's platform matches users for potential journey sharing but does not broker, arrange, or enforce any ride-sharing agreements.

We do not verify declarations made by other users and accept no liability for their conduct.

All shared rides are at your own risk.

10. User Behaviour
Users must conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner.

Posting defamatory, abusive, threatening, or illegal content will result in immediate suspension or termination.

GooMur is not responsible for any user misbehaviour or incidents during a shared ride.

Misconduct or violation of the law or Terms will result in automatic account suspension or termination.

11. Access and Availability
Access to GooMur is provided on an “as is, as available” basis.

GooMur reserves the right to suspend, limit, or deny access at any time, with or without notice.

You are responsible for securing your device and account credentials.

We are not liable for any loss or disruption caused by changes to or suspension of the service.

12. Privacy and Data Handling
GooMur is registered under the Data Protection Acts of the Republic of Ireland.

We will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

You authorise GooMur to use your information, including photographs, internally for the enhancement of the platform, not for public dissemination.

Information from terminated/deleted accounts will be retained for up to 3 months for legal purposes and then permanently deleted.

13. Limitation of Liability
GooMur provides a virtual noticeboard-type service. We do not provide any warranties, guarantees, or conditions regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of content.

We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

GooMur is not responsible for the conduct or actions of users during shared journeys.

14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GooMur, its officers, directors, and employees, from any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the app or website.

Your breach of these Terms.

Your violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.

15. Termination
Users may terminate their account at any time via the app settings.

We reserve the right to terminate your account at any time without prior notice for any breach of the Terms.

Upon termination, no refunds or reimbursements for unused credits will be made.

Post-termination data will be stored for 3 months, after which all personal data will be purged, unless required by law enforcement.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising from or related to them or your use of the service, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, irrespective of the user’s location.

17. Final Notes
GooMur reserves the right to modify, revise, or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the app or website implies your acceptance of any revised Terms.
